The City is seeking qualified Electrical Contractors to perform Electrical Service Work at Various Facilities in the City of Niagara Falls. The intent of this RFSQ is to create a roster of qualified, licensed Electricians to supply all labour, equipment, transportation, materials, and service necessary to perform Electrical Service Work on an as required and emergency basis at various City of Niagara Falls locations.

This pre-qualification applies to various Electrical projects including small electrical repairs, maintenance, and various Capital projects as well as work to be tendered to General Contractors as Sub-Contractors.

The following are representative of the services which may be required:

• Repair or replacement of various lighting equipment and controls;
• Repair or replacement of starters and various switchgear;
• Repair or replacement of distribution wiring;
• Repair or replacement of existing electrical wiring;
• Repair or replacement of various relays and control components;
• Troubleshooting and tracing electrical circuitry;
• Fault locating;
• Repair of underground faults;
• Repair or replacement of primary and secondary conductors and related equipment;
• Repair or replacement of panel boards;
• Repair or replacement of data cabling;
• Replacement of damaged poles;
• Correction of leaning poles;
• Connecting and disconnecting of various equipment as required.

This is not an all-inclusive list. Other types of repairs and electrical services may be required.
